This was filmed with the Sony HVR-Z1 in high definition with the letus Extreme adapter we used the Nikon 135mm f2.8 lens and Nikon 85mm f2.0 and Nikon 50mm f1.4.It was filmed in the summer of 2008 at the lake in historic down town Clermont.

The 35mm lens adapter permits the use of 35mm cinematic lenses and all the benefits that come with that. A big part of it is the “look” (depth of field, etc.)

Now, with the help of a Letus35, we can achieve the same shallow depth of field effects as a high-end 35mm film camera with our existing HDV camera. Soon we will have some sample footage and pictures that will give you an idea of how it works check our website www.blackwoodpictures.com .
